What are your thoughts on this unique name?

it is for a girl. i heard it one day and it just stuck with me.





Katargzena. (KUH TAR JEN AH)


if you know how to say it right, its beautiful (to me)





but if i named my daughter that, her full name would be Katargzena Iris.





and we would probobly call her Kat for short. but i love the name. tell me what you think.

What are your thoughts on this unique name?
Sorry but its a little to out there for me. No one will be able to spell it or pronounce it. She will have to spend her life correcting people.

But I think trying to name a child that big long name you're suggesting is a bit cruel! It is incredibly hard to spell...not just for the child herself but for anyone that ever writes her name. AND, how on earth will someone that has never seen that name (MOST PEOPLE) know how to pronounce it.





I see why you like it, but from the outside looking in it's easy to see that the name will cause lots of problems.
Reply:I think it'd be very out of place on an American child, I think it's over the top rather than "unique" and I don't personally like it. Originality is a good thing, don't get me wrong, but this is a baby not a country.
Reply:well if you call her kat (pronounced Kate?) then it would be fine, you might want to brace her for all of the ways her name will be mispronounced...


BUT yes, it Is a beautiful, unique name.
Reply:She will go through life getting her name constantly misspelled and mispronounced. That would get annoying to me, I wouldn't want to have a long complicated name like that.
