Is Lexhanie a nice unique name for a girl?

I've always liked that name but in a way not sure if naming my baby that.....

Is Lexhanie a nice unique name for a girl?
I think that it is cute. Also there are plenty of nicknames you could give her if you decide to use that name lex, lexie, anie.
Reply:It looks cute, but I'm not sure how to pronounce it. Can you put the pronunciation?
Reply:I dont know how to pronounce it!

Its not a great choice as she gets older no one will be able to say it or spell it.
Reply:What kind of name is that? People are so weird with that krap. name her something normal for petes sake. why not alexis? and call her lexi?
Reply:Did you just make that up?
Reply:As a mother, who absolutely adores the 'odd/unique' names, and has used an 'odd/unique' name for 2 of my 3 children( I have a 21 month old boy named Gage, and a 3 month old daughter named Camberlei)...I couldn't, for the life of me figure out how to pronounce this one. It LOOKS pretty, Lol...

Maybe try spelling it a little differently, So that people might be able to say it correctly by reading it? :]
Reply:After sitting here looking at for about 3 minutes, I still don't think I can figure out how you would pronounce that--a problem that could follow her life.
Reply:The way it is spelled it looks like a pharmaceutical, I like the name Lexie, how about Lexie Anne. That looks pretty normal is easy to spell and pronounce.
Reply:She'll be called Lexi from Day 1 (if she is lucky, Lex Luthor if she is not), and it just does not roll off the tounge nicely. Perhaps Lexannie instead?
Reply:its close to the indian name lexame, not sure how to spell it though.
Reply:N O, N O, N O W A Y.

Not if you want other people to be able to pronounce or spell her name. Also it has been shown that names that are OVERLY UNIQUE frequently cause people to have less opportunity for advancement (fair or not that is the REAL WORLD).
Reply:It is a pretty name but I hope you aren't a car buff and naming her after the rims!
Reply:Sure, just make sure you give her a normal middle name so that when she becomes an adult and is searching for a job, she can go by her middle name and not get passed over by the HR department for having an unpronouncable name
Reply:I think it's cute and different!!

I love the name Savara and Samara. I like names that aren't comment and most people haven't heard before!

Honestly, I thought you were speaking of some kind of disease. I don't really like it but, that's just me. It's your baby! Good Luck!
