We have a Chi that is named Shotzy. Because he would take off running like he was shot from a cannon. (still does too)





I named my Husky/Shepherd mix, Teddi. She looked like a little teddy bear when she was just a baby.





I have cat named Boomer. His first trip to the vet....she told us he was going to be really big! She was right! He is part Maine Coone/ Persian. His top weight was 28 pounds. Down to 18 now though.

Just make sure when you choose a name, try to choose a two-syllable name. Also, ending in a "y" or "ie" is best [Annie, Cindy, Lacey, etc.]. They respond to it better for some reason....I know there was a reason, I just forgot it. (: Adding three or more syllables is just confusing for the dog.

Reply:actually, it depends on you. i actually own a dacshund and we came up on her name, and her name is "chammy", which came from the tv series charmed. She is supposed to be called Charmy but my dad said its a bit common. so we came up with her name.





You may name her before your favorites or you can reasearch about the names. You may also base from a baby book which have meanings and you may choose anyth name you want.
